This graduate program is aimed at physicians with basic training in internal medicine (prerequisite: two years) and its goal is the comprehensive understanding of the geriatric patient, from the bio-psycho-social aspects. It follows a chain that begins with changes (morphological, psychological, functional and social) which originate the individual aging process, and continues with the prevention and management of the different situations and issues affecting this age group.
