Master’s Degree in Endodontics

The Master’s in Endodontics is designed for up-to-date clinical training of dental professionals, in the diagnosis and treatment of pulp and periapical pathologies in humans.

This program seeks to develop in each student the analysis of scientific evidence and reflective thinking in such a way that they design research projects which allow them to resolve problems that may arise in diagnosis and in clinical and therapeutic procedures. In turn, it also aims for the student to be trained in teaching techniques, so they can apply these skills to clinical supervision and instruction of classes in the area of ​​Endodontics.

 This program contains four fundamental aspects in its academic structure:

• Basic education, where the basic notions of Endodontics are established to level out knowledge.
• Clinical instruction (theory and clinical, 50% of program hours), where each work technique is detailed in its different phases or stages to be carried out in a root canal treatment.
• Advanced education, where new technologies implemented to date are presented, along with how to successfully integrate them in the performance of cutting-edge endodontic treatments.
• Instructor training, where different teaching methodological strategies are presented, in order to multiply the knowledge acquired during the student’s training.
